For the first time in history, at the 45th Kennedy Center Honor ceremony, and in fact, in this hall, lines from the Anthem of Ukraine were performed with a special version of the song “Walk On” by U2. Brandy Carlisle and Hozier this moment I will never forget. Thank you for feeling that we are not alone in this fight for freedom. In Bono’s words: “When I listened to you sing, I flew into space,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that the performer attended a gala dinner in Washington in early December, where he met with Hollywood actors, as well as the Secretary of State of the United States.
