Rodrigo Mussi case: application will block passengers who do not wear seat belts

”We’ve implemented additional warning banners asking to wear seat belts before and at the start of races,” the transport app 99 said in a statement.

Transport app 99 has announced that it will penalize passengers or even drivers who refuse to wear a seat belt while traveling. The measure was taken after an accident that hit the influencer Rodrigo Mussi, ex-BBB, this last Thursday, 31, after leaving the game between São Paulo and Palmeiras. At the time, Mussi was not wearing a belt.

App will block passengers not wearing seat belts

In a note, the company says: “We have also implemented additional warning banners asking to wear seat belts before and at the start of races. Soon, voice messages will also be added for this booster”. Passengers may now be refused a ride or have their ‘app’ account blocked if they refuse to wear a seat belt.

“Users who disrespect the rules will receive educational alerts and even blocks, in cases of recidivism”, continues the note. In the statement, we can still read that there will be a space in the app where users and drivers will be able to report trips made without a seat belt.
