LE FIGARO. – How did telecommunication develop during the Covid period and after that?
Margarit KAZENYOV. – The number of teleconsultations reached 40,000 per month in 2019, in April 2020 they reached 4.5 million, down from 1.5 million in June 2021. Today, that figure seems to be stabilizing with about 1 million monthly telephone consultations. Therefore, we can see that the epidemic has allowed us to master this tool, but it is not intended as a basic practice. It is, after all, an additional tool available to physicians and patients.
