On this spring morning at the University Hospital of Angers, Jean-René is ready for her surgery in Professor Pascal Rousseau’s Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Here we work to repair faces and bodies, sometimes purely for aesthetic reasons, often to correct a defect or after illness or accident. This is the case of Jean-Rene, who a year ago got serious burns on his head due to chemical products at the hairdresser. “With my burn, I can no longer work. I’m nothing without my work.” trusts the young electrician.
