The Covid pandemic has had a major impact on people’s mental health, and children are no exception. But how concerned are the French youth? This is the question to be answered by two studies published on Tuesday, one in the publications of the Department of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (DREES) and the other in the French Weekly Epidemiological Bulletin (SPF) of Public Health.
The first study was carried out as part of the EpiCov survey conducted by Inserm and Drees from March 2020 to July 2021, i.e. during the Covid pandemic. It is based on a survey of nearly 20,000 parents or guardians of children between the ages of 3 and 17 who were asked what they perceived their generation’s morality to be.
