Sonya Eddy, best known for her role as nurse Epiphany Johnson on “General Hospital,” has passed away. He was 55 years old.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce the sudden passing of my business partner, creative soul and best friend Sonya Eddy,” Tyler Ford, co-owner of Eddy Ford Entertainment with the actor, told HuffPost. . “He left an indelible mark on every person he touched, on and off screen.”
The cause of death was not disclosed.
“General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini said he was heartbroken by the loss.
“I really loved her not only as an actress but also as a friend.
