Legendary composer Angelo Badalamenti has died

The American composer Angelo Badalamenti died at the age of 86. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

According to his niece Frances, the iconic soundtrack creator passed away at his home in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, surrounded by family.

It is noted that during his long career, the musician has worked with artists such as David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Nina Simone, Liza Minnelli and others.

Angelo Badalamenti also composed the music for the Olympic flame lighting ceremony at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.

As for awards, in 1990, for the music for the dramatic television series Twin Peaks, the composer received a Grammy Award and was nominated for an Emmy in three categories at once.
