In the post, Netflix reveals that the idea came up during the recording of the scene that shows Wandinha’s first meeting with Tyler (Hunter Doohan) in a restaurant, where Tim Burton noticed that ortega did not flash during shooting.
As a result, the filmmaker asked the actress not to blink during the scenes anymore, thus bringing a novelty to the representation of the character that had already been played by other artists in previous productions focused on the Addams Family.
In addition, Wandinha’s new characteristic shows yet another of the efforts of Jenna to bring the role to life, as the actress took cello, fencing, archery and German lessons, in addition to practicing canoeing.
