Metallica’s previous album was called Hardwired… To Self-Destruct and was released in November 2016.

The American metal band Metallica, after seven years, announced the release of a new album called 72 Seasons. The musicians announced it on Instagram.

It is known that the studio album, which will be released on April 14, 2023, will include 12 tracks. The artists have already released one of them as a single.

Also to present the new album, Metallica will go on a tour of North America and Europe. The first concert will take place on April 27, 2023 in Amsterdam.

“The 72 seasons are the first 18 years of our lives that shape our real or fake selves… Most of our adult experience is a reproduction or reaction to that childhood experience,” Metallica’s frontman was quoted as saying by Revolver.

Earlier it was reported that Metallica opened a fundraiser to help Ukraine because of the war unleashed by Russia.
