It is noted that the musician arrived in Ukraine on April 25, spent the night in Irpin, and in the morning Chopin’s nocturnes were played in the open air against the backdrop of the ruins of the Central House of Culture.
As indicated, the black piano for the presentation was brought from Kyiv and placed in the rest of the square in front of the building, which was an architectural monument before the occupiers dropped a bomb on it in early April before retreating.
“Playing music in halls for fun is not all that can be done here. Music is an energy that helps people … Therefore, I don’t want to play in halls now. On April 27, the pianist will perform at the main military hospital in Kyiv.
