For the first time ever, TXT will walk the AMAs red carpet with a chance to take home a prize
Last Wednesday, the 16th, TXT received their first nomination at this year’s American Music Awards, better known as the AMAs. The boygroup is competing in the Favorite K-pop Artist category, with the competitors being BLACKPINK, BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE.
The category was created this year, and its nominees are chosen based on streaming data, album/song sales, radio airplay and touring earnings. All of these requirements need to fall within a certain time frame, in this case September 2021 to September 2022.
The AMAs 2022 will take place this Sunday, the 20th, and will be broadcast on the TNT channel, starting at 9:30 pm. In Los Angeles, the awards will be shown on the 21st, at the Microsoft Theater.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, better known as TXT, was formed by Big Hit and had its debut in March 2019, with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star”. The group has five members: yeonjun🇧🇷 soobin🇧🇷 beomgyu🇧🇷 Taehyun and Hueningkai🇧🇷
