Many TV channels in Russia, despite the fact that the license agreement should last a year and a half, are banned from broadcasting many cult films.
One of the largest film and TV production companies, Warner Bros. Entertainment banned the release of its films in Russia. This was reported by RosSMI, referring to a letter received by TV channels.
In particular, the company sent a corresponding letter to the National Media Group holding, which includes the following TV channels: STS, Domashny, REN TV, Channel Five, as well as the more.tv streaming platform.
So, on the territory of the aggressor country it is forbidden to broadcast many legendary films, especially Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Aquaman, Joker and many others.
It is worth noting that Warner Bros. did not give any comments on this matter.
