The actress paid tribute to Dorothy Dandridge by posting several photos of her on Instagram. Halle Berry portrayed him on screen in the 1999 TV series of the same name.

Dorothy Dandridge celebrated her 100th birthday on Thursday, November 9. Died in 1965, the singer and actress was the first African-American actress to receive an Academy Award nomination for her role. From singing to movies

Dorothy Dandridge is considered a pioneer of modern African American actresses. Having first started her singing career with her sister, she would appear on screen in 1954 thanks to her role in the film.
