Jimmy Kimmel said there is one issue that really unites many Americans.
“Nobody likes Ted Cruz,” he said Thursday night.
However, despite this unpopularity, Senator Cruz was called upon to help Herschel Walker, the Republican candidate for Senator from Georgia.
“You know your campaign is in trouble when somebody picks up the phone and says, ‘Get us Ted Cruz right now,'” Kimmel said.
Kimmel also pointed out that Cruz (R-Texas) was greeted with a chorus of boos at the Houston Astros World Series parade.
“People are whistling non-stop,” Kimmel remarked as the video played. “No one has ever been booed at a World Series parade before. It’s historic.”
“Nobody likes Ted Cruz and yet somehow he’s still out there doing his job. It’s like the Senator version of Nickelback. It is inexplicable.”
