Billie Eilish makes her red carpet debut with boyfriend Jesse Rutherford wrapped in a blanket

The grand tradition of matching clothes for celebrity couples has a new contender: Billie Eilish and her boyfriend Jesse Rutherford.

The 20-year-old Grammy-winning “Happier Than Ever” singer and The Neighborhood frontman, 31, made their red carpet debut as a duo at the 2022 Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday night .

What about their clothes? Cozy doesn’t even begin to cover it. While other attendees at the Los Angeles Museum of Art’s 11th annual event arrived in glamorous formal wear, Eilish and Rutherford took the fashion path less traveled.

The two attended the charity ceremony in head-to-toe Gucci pajamas and wrapped in a large blanket with the fashion house’s monogram. Rutherford wore ankle boots on the carpet, while Eilish completed her look with a matching black fringed eye mask.

The couple huddled together for photos as they practically wrapped themselves in a stylish cocoon before finally stepping down from the launch to reveal their full looks.

Eilish and Rutherford, who have been friends for years, first sparked dating speculation last month after they were photographed on several outings together. Rumors of their romance were confirmed after the paparazzi caught them kissing outside a restaurant in Los Angeles.

Since going public as a couple, their relationship – and the 11-year age difference between them – has sparked some controversy among the singer’s fans.

The two teased critics over the Halloween weekend by dressing up as a child and an old man, signaling to all parties involved that they are very aware of the conversation about their age online.

Eilish was previously linked to rapper Q and actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, but has kept her romantic life out of the public eye, preferring to appear on red carpets with her brother and music collaborator Finneas.
