The Ukrainian business titan millionaire said he asked the Ukrainian military to bomb his newly built home after his security webcam showed Russian troops that they were using it as a base.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain on Monday, Andrei Stavnitzer recalled his disgust that Russian soldiers were using his property west of the capital Kiev for missile attacks and classification of stolen goods. goods.
“I got dirty when I saw kids walking around my house,” said Stavnitzer, who now helps out in Lublin, Poland. He said Russian soldiers stripped his bodyguards and sent them into the woods.
He said it was an “obvious decision” to ask that his property be turned to rubble.
“It’s not about the money,” he added. “I want to do everything possible to help Ukraine win, because I think we are committed to the security of Europe and it is important to remove these measures from our land.”
