“Abbott Elementary” just got its first flawless win.
The hit ABC series from developer Quinta Brunson closed the book in its first season this week and earned a surprising 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The best TV series List.
Brunson, known for her BuzzFeed AND HBO work “Black Lady Sketch Show,” – plays Janine Teague, a second -grade teacher who loves her work despite the trials she faces.
The show follows Tegius and a group of teachers determined to help their students succeed at a public school in West Philadelphia, with money.
The show also features Tyler James Williams (“Everybody Hates Chris”), Janel James (“Black Monday”), Lisa Ann Walter (“Parent Trap”), Chris Perfet (“What We Do in the Shadow”) and Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Moshe”).
Abbott Elementary’s success propelled him into the show’s award-winning league, which also received top scores from Rotten Tomatoes, including “Breaking Bad”, “Cobra Kai” and “Big Mouth”.

The smash hit premiered on ABC in December last year and audiences have grown since then.
“Abbott Elementary” has been confirmed for 2 seasons, but fans will have to wait to find out when the most popular TV series will officially return.
