The actress who turned 18 recently told in an interview how the media and people react to her growth
The actress Millie Bobby Brown came to prominence in her career by playing the character Eleven in ‘Stranger Things’ at just 12 years old.
Growing up in the spotlight, the artist vented in an interview with The Guilty Feminist podcast about how this exposure caused her to suffer from early sexualization.
Millieturned 18 in February and said that she deals with the same challenges as a girl who comes of age, however, the difference is that her growth is accompanied by many other people due to her public life.
I deal with the same things any 18 year old is dealing with, getting to know adulthood and having relationships and friendships and all that stuff,” he said. “Being appreciated and trying to fit in, that’s all too much, and you’re trying to fit in. [conhecer] while doing this. The only difference, obviously, is that I’m doing it in the public eye.”
Also, after your birthday, Millie says that he noticed a “difference between the way people act and the way the press and social media react to maturation”.
During the conversation, the artist said that her experience is “a good example of what is happening in the world and how girls are sexualized.” In addition to telling her that even though she is dealing with this situation now, this is a reality for her “for an eternity.”
