Earlier this week, boy group BIGBANG made their long-awaited comeback with ‘Still Life’ and, since then, the single has been conquering incredible marks on Billboard. Starting with the World Digital Song Sales chart where the track reached the first place, as reported by the magazine this Tuesday, 12.
This is the group’s fifth presence in the World Digital Song Sales, as the songs “LOSER”, “BANG BANG BANG”, “Let’s Not Fall In Love” and “Flower Road” also reached the top of the ranking.
As if that wasn’t enough, “Still Life” also became BIGBANG’s first song to enter Billboard’s top digital music sales chart, peaking at No. 24 for the week ending April 16.
The conquest made the BIG BANG become the fourth K-pop group in Billboard history to enter the top 25 of this ranking, a feat that had only been accomplished before by boy group BTS and girl groups BLACKPINK and TWICE.
Additionally, “Still Life” debuted at No. 3 in the top 10 on the Billboard Global Excl. US and at No. 9 on the Billboard Global 200 this week, becoming the first song by the YG Entertainment group to enter both rankings.
