The Ukrainian director’s film received two awards at the Locarno Film Festival

The film competed in the Present Filmmakers Competition. This is the cinematographer’s debut film.

Debut film of Ukrainian director Kristina Tinkevich How is Katya? received two awards at the 75th International Film Festival, which took place in Locarno. This was reported by the press service of the State Film Agency.

The film received the Ciné+ Special Jury Prize, which includes a CHF 25,000 promotional campaign for the winning film on the French Ciné+ TV channel during its theatrical release in French cinemas, and leading actress Anastasia Karpenko the Best Actress Award .

How is Katya? is a social drama about an emergency doctor who seeks justice in an imperfect world.

It will be remembered that the Ukrainian film Mother of the Apostles received the main award of the Asia Film Art International Film Festival in Hong Kong.
