Netflix will award scholarships to Ukrainian filmmakers

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, cooperation negotiations have been conducted on the platform.

Since the beginning of the mass invasion, Ukraine has been in talks with the streaming platform Netflix, which has yielded results. This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko on Telegram.

In particular, according to the official, Netflix left the Russian market, and within a few months the amount of Ukrainian-language content on the platform grew significantly.

In addition, the American media service provider is launching two projects in support of Ukrainian cinema.

It was noted that 100 scholarships in the amount of one thousand euros will be provided for Ukrainian filmmakers. Also, a number of educational sessions with international experts will be held for Ukrainians.

Netflix has previously released a teaser trailer for Pinocchio.
