One of the most charismatic characters in Brazilian pop culture is ready to board a new digital journey: Chico Bento, who officially arrived on social networks. MSP Studios has announced that, from this week, the Cavirinha da Vila Zucrinha now has its own channels in Tiktok and Youtube, with content that promises to bring the audience closer to its simple, affective and Brazilian universe.
Chico Bento’s entry into the digital ecosystem is another MSP step in expanding the character’s presence in multiple platforms, where the strategy is part of a Chico brand amplification movement, which has won protagonism in new formats, such as the live-action movie “Chico Bento and the Wonder Guava”. Now, with its own profiles on the networks, the character will have voice, accent and direct expression with fans, offering exclusive, interactive content and aligned with their interior essence.
At Tiktok, the challenge is to conquer the new generations with Chico’s rustic way. The platform will be used to explore the character in short, creative and viral videos, from trends adapted to the rural universe to comic skits, choreographies, garden recipes and situations of village zucchini. The idea is to unite the character’s spontaneity with the dynamism of the channel, creating an authentic and fun presence that dialogue with the young audience in a light and connected way.
Already on Youtube, the focus will be to deepen narratives and offer longer content. Among the bets are animated miniseries, music clips, backstage recordings and special videos with participation from all over his class, formed by Rosinha, Zé Lelé, Tábata and Hiro. The channel will also be a showcase for inspiring content, rescuing values such as friendship, beware of the environment, respect for traditions and connection with the roots, themes that have always been part of the character’s DNA.

Created in 1961 by Mauricio de SousaChico Bento was born as a tribute to the author’s own childhood in Mogi das Cruzes, interior of São Paulo. With his straw hat, bare feet and generous heart, the character gained space by representing rural Brazil with lightness, good humor and popular wisdom. Over the decades, Chico has been the protagonist of comic strips, graphic novels, books, webtoons and animations, always carrying the identity of the countryside and the appreciation of nature and simplicity.
In January 2025, Chico took an important step towards audiovisual with the release of the feature film “Chico Bento and Guava Maraviosa”, first live-action starring the character. The film reached the mark of 1 million viewers by translating into the cinema the poetry of the interior and consolidated the presence of Chico Bento as an icon of Brazilian pop culture. Now, with his arrival on social networks, the character reinvents himself once again as a rural digital influencer, without losing his accent and heart.
