1. Okay not to be normal
Aired on TVN from June 20 to August 9, 2020, “Okay not to be normal” was appointed as one of the best international series of 2020 by The New York Times, and even received nominations to the Emmythe largest and most prestigious TV award.
Synopsis: “The meeting between a children’s book writer and a caregiver of mentally ill gives a journey of overcoming the emotional problems they both face.”

2. True beauty

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “True Beauty” debuted on TVN on December 9, 2020. In the plot, Moon Ga-Young(My dear nemesis), CHA EUN-WOO (My identity is the beauty of gangnam), HWANG IN-YEOP (Family by choice) bring a love triangle to life that forms in a story full of comedy in which a girl who has been bullied for her appearance, finds out how to rise and find her true beauty.
Synopsis: “An insecure teenager learns the tricks of makeup and begins to make a huge success at school. But it won’t be easy to maintain appearances.”

3. Playlist Hospital

With two seasons, “Playlist Hospital” began winning fans on March 12, 2020, when the first episode aired. Also originally aired by TVN, Dorama was nominated and won awards such as Asia Artist Awards, Baeksang Arts Awards and even the Golden Disc Awards.
The popularity made even the title a spin-off: “Resident Playbook”, which premiered a month after the original plot turns 5.

4. Mr. Queen

Based on the Chinese soap opera “Go Princess Go”, the drama “Mr. Queen” is a creation of Studio Dragon that appeared on the small screen on December 12, 2020. Shin Hye-Sun (Back to the roots) such as Queen Kim So-Yong/Jang Bong-Hwan and Kim Jung-Hyun (Iron Family) as King Cheoljong.
Synopsis: “A chef travels in time and wakes up on the body of a 19th century queen. Until you find a way to go home, you’ll need to turn to the royal court.”

5. Sweet Home

Also an adaptation of a homonymous webtoon, “Sweet Home” had the first episode released on Netflix on December 18, 2020. Today, the plot has three seasons, bringing in the cast names like Song Kang (My favorite demon), GO MIN SI (May Youth), GO YOUN-JUNG (Alchemy of souls), Lee Do-Hyun (The lesson) and more.
Synopsis: “When humans saw wild monsters and spread terror around the world, people who survive fight to remain alive without losing humanity.”
