Representatives of the 16 countries held at the Yakobsghalle Arena, but only ten of them managed to win the hearts of the audience and have an opportunity to compete for the major competition trophy. Lithuania, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Malta and Greece went to the final.
The first semi-final occurred on May 13, then representatives of Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal and Ukraine took place in the grand final.
The countries of Great Five – France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and Germany, as well as last year’s winner of Switzerland, also automatically join the finalists.
