DC movie producer of film universe, Warner Bros., shared the four heroes who have gained focus on the new phase
This Wednesday, 15, during a conference of financial results in the first quarter, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslavrevealed the central characters of the new phase of the DC film universe James Gunn. According to the executive, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl will be the main outbreaks of the studio from now on.
According to Zaslavthe four heroes are considered “great differentials” and “great resource builders” for the future of the franchise, three of them (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman) members of the so-called “Trinity of DC”, a group known in the comics for representing the studio’s pillars. To date, the only solo project confirmed between the four characters is ‘Supergirl: The Woman of Tomorrow’, the second feature film of the new DCU, scheduled to debut after Superman, who hits theaters on June 10.
Batman’s films (“The Brave and the Bold”) and Wonder Woman are still without a premiere, the latter being a project that would mark the heroin trilogy, directed by Patty Jenkinsbut has been canceled and in place a show is under development (via omelet).
It is worth remembering that although it has not yet returned with a movie of its own, the character Batman has already made a brief appearance in “Command of Creatures”, production recently released, while Amazona has not yet appeared directly on the productions of the new universe.
More details about DCU’s next steps should be revealed in the coming months.
DC series
On the small screen, the studio continues to expand DCU with series such as “Creatures Command”, the second season of “Peacemaker” and the future project of the “Lanterns”. Meanwhile, the cinematic core gains more defined contours with the highlight for the “Superman family”. Among the villains, the Solo Cara de Cara, scheduled for 2026, was also confirmed.
All studio series are available on Max.
