Who is Boravia’s villain?

This Wednesday, 14, Warner Bros. Pictures released a new trailer for the expected movie “Superman”, a new feature film on The Man of Steel, starring David Corenswetwhich will be responsible for starting the new DCU, the shared universe of DC.

But who is Hammer of Boravia?

First of all, it must be remembered that Boravia is a fictitious nation, quoted in the comics as a region located in Europe, which would have survived the two world wars and managed to maintain its traditional hereditary monarchy.

Early in the new trailer, it is quoted that Superman helped stop a war from another country. At one point, the man of steel is seen in a melee battle against a villain who, so far, no one knows much about his story: the Hammer of Boravia, or Boravia hammer.

The character, who never appeared in the comics, as explained by the portal Yahoo!, Is an unprecedented creation for the film, developed by James Gunnfilmmaker and co-CEO of DC Studios, next to the producer Peter Safran. In the trailer, you can see that it uses huge iron armor, having an extremely strong physique, and has the ability to fly and drop lasers through the eyes.

The report also says that Boravia would have attacked Jarhanpur, a neighboring country, starting a war ended quickly after the arrival of Superman.
