This Monday, 05, Universal Pictures announced the coming of the cast of the first live action of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ to Brazil! With the arrival of the ever -closer feature, the studio brings the protagonist tour Mason Thamesthat interprets the hiccup, Gerard Butlerwho gives life to the Star Father, Stoic, and the interpreter of Astrid, Nico Parkerbesides the coming of director and screenwriter, Dean Deblois.

According to Universal Pictures, the main actors of the cast will be on Brazilian soil between May 24 and 28.
About Live-action
Inspired by the bestseller of Cressida Cowell And in the animated trilogy developed by Dreamworks Animation, the live-action of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ has production directed by the award-winning director and screenwriter Dean Debloiswinner of the Golden Globe and three times nominated for Oscar’s Gold Statute, which produced the three acclaimed previous animated films.
Adapting the premise of the first launch, which happened in 2010, the plot will follow Hiccup, a Viking that ends up challenging the local tradition of battles between men and dragons by making friends with Banguela, a fury of light that proves that humans and these powerful mythological beings can live in harmony.
Announced in 2023, the feature film set on the island of Berk gives life to the most beloved Vikings of the screens and dragons so much loved by the public with the use of CGI and real actors, which began to take shape on January 15, 2024, when filming were officially started. Production brings Nic and Masonin addition to Gerard Butlerwho lent his voice to the father of the protagonist, Stoic, in the animated trilogy, and now again interpret it in live-action, next to Nick Frost in the role of mouth.
