It has been reported that the film will be based on archival audio and video recordings to take viewers back to key events in the life of the princess, whose personal life has come under media scrutiny.
The film, titled Prinsesa, will also be a reflection of society at the time, showing the public’s own concerns, fears, aspirations and desires. The film was directed by Ed Perkins, an Oscar nominee.
The film will release on August 13, 2022.
