The information was confirmed by the agency responsible for (G)I-DLE, Cube Entertainment.
It finally comes! This Wednesday, the 6th, the news portal Newsen reported that the Miyeonfrom (G)I-DLE, will be making his long-awaited solo debut later in April, and the news has been confirmed by the company behind the idol, Cube Entertainment.
In a statement, the agency said, “Miyeon will return with a solo album later this month.”
Miyeon just wrapped up promotions for (G)I-DLE’s first full-album, “I NEVER DIE”, which arrived accompanied by the title track that became a hit on the Korean charts, “TOMBOY”, and was responsible for putting the girl group on the Top 3 girl groups with the most hours of Perfect All-Kill. It’s worth noting that this was (G)I-DLE’s first release with just five members since Soojin’s departure in August of last year. During the entire hiatus period, Yuqi, Shuhua, minnie, Soyeon and Miyeon focused on their solo activities in and out of South Korea, participating in variety shows, releasing solo albums and performing work with an actress.
In addition to being active in her singing career, the idol is also working as a host on the show “M! Countdown” and during the group’s hiatus period, she participated in some acting projects such as in the dramas “Adult Trainee” and “Her Bucket List”.
