Stray Kids members stop Dominate Tour in Lima, Peru, after fan security issues are put to the test; look!
Stray Kids is holding its first world tour that is present in Latin America. The JYP Entertainment group has already passed cities such as Santiago, Chile, and recently performed at three shows in Brazil, one in Rio de Janeiro and two in São Paulo, attracting about 185,000 stays. Last Monday, 07, the members and their team unfolded in Lima, Peru, in which they presented the tour ‘Dominate’ last Wednesday, 09.
The show that, despite the euphoria of having the group the first time in the country, was marked by some confusions and pause for security reasons. After the presentation at San Marcos Stadium, some fans who were on the premium track grid, which separates the stage and the audience, eventually fainted due to the riot and heat that caused by the “push” in the area, common in high demand shows.
Thus, realizing the inconvenience the stays were going through, the Stray Kids members made a point of stopping the performance, asking fans to make room for those who were badly able to recover and be attended by local firefighters.
The group leader, Bang chanWho took the voice to alert the people who were in the background to move away and respect others, thus warning that the group would only continue to learn if they kept security.
The coverage of what was happening in Lima was done by the fans themselves present at the stadium, which was the target of some frustrations as the audience could have prevented the glory if the precise respect had been given at the moment. Fortunately, no one was injured and had the appropriate care for the prepared teams.
Following the end of the presentation, the group’s older member used the conversation app with the fans, Bubble, to thank them for their presence on the show and comment on the episode. He started the message by saying that things like that can happen due to the great demand of the tour, explaining that the reason they stopped performance was for seeing “a group of people fall and create a big hole in the crowd”,
He continued to warn that “Stay’s security is our main priority!” Bangchan Still expressed relief that “fortunately, no one was seriously injured, so we were very, very relieved !!!”, and finished thanking the presence of fans, and that “next time, let’s have fun again!
