One of the most prestigious world literature contests – the Buker Prize – announced a short list of finalists of 2025.
It is traditionally included in six books, which, according to the jury, explore the topics of salvation, oppression, disaster and the strength of the human spirit.
“These are books about survival and self -preservation -about our anonymous instinct to continue to move forward in the face of disaster, oppression, extinction or hopelessness. In a world that often seems to be complete despair, this shorttep praises the human spirit -our ability to live and our impulse in a better life,” explained the jurity of his chief.
The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 20, in London.
