David Corenswet raises suspicions about mysterious voice in a new preview of ‘Superman’ and increases expectations for special participation in the film
Who will it be? The premiere of the new movie of the steel hero, Superman, is approaching and every day brings new speculation to netizens. Becoming the first feature produced under the command of DC’s new creative director, James Gunnthe project has just gained another detail confirmed by David Corenswetthe character’s new interpreter on the big screen.
During the release of an extended preview of the feature last Friday, 4, the actor used social networks to comment on one of the rumors about the mysterious voice that appears in the background in the promotional material. “While I was flying, someone shared a glimpse of the new Superman movie. Someone recognized some family voices,” he wrote at X, former Twitter, indicating a special participation already present in the production.
The main theory is that it is Jor-El, the protagonist’s Kryptonian father. The character’s appearance has not yet been officially confirmed by the production, but the actor’s comment rekindled the public’s curiosity.
Plot
The new film will feature a younger Clark Kent, newcomer to Metropolis, in the first steps of his career as a reporter and also as Superman. The story, although inspired by the comic “All-Star Superman and Superman for All Seasons”, will not be a new origin, thus receiving an approach to the hero’s transition phase between his two identities.
A new preview of the feature was revealed on April 3, which shows Superman being carried by his faithful squire, Krypto, the extraterrestrial dog that will be present on the screens as well. In the scene, the two go to the fortress of loneliness, in which the hero is welcomed by Kryptonian robots who help in his recovery.
