Formed by the winners of the survival program ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’, Katseye was born from the partnership between K-Pop Giant, Hybe Labels and Universal Music’s Geffen Records, with the proposal to go beyond the genre barriers and conquer the global audience.
The six members debuted in June 2024 with the single “Debut”. Shortly thereafter, the track “Touch” went viral, reaching over 14 million monthly listeners on Spotify and generating almost 400,000 videos on Tiktok.
The first EP, “Sis Strong), released on August 16, 2024, guaranteed the group a historic place at Billboard 200, occupying the position #119. The success of “Touch” still yielded a remix with Yeonjunof the TXT, released on October 11, 2024.
