Second website, the Power Rangers franchise can win a new series on Disney+, led by the same showrunners of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’
According to information from The Wrap (via omelet), Hasbro, in partnership with 20th Century TV, would be planning the development of a new Power Rangers series, which would be distributed directly on Disney+, Disney’s streaming service.
The vehicle says that, currently, Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan shotzshowrunners of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, a series that also belongs to Disney+, would be negotiating to write, command and produce the new show. The publication also says that Hasbro “will reinvent the franchise to a new generation of fans, while enchanting those who already know and love the world of Power Rangers.”
So far, Disney, Hasbro and 20th Century TV have not yet confirmed the information.
