Since its announcement, the feature has been the target of numerous controversies and criticism, however, has been surprised by the answers from the first impressions of international criticism, receiving great praise. In an interview with Allure, Rachelwho will live the classic princess, took the opportunity to explain the importance the film has to convey the story to new generations.
“That’s why it’s so important for the next generation to see movies like this – you need to notice that there is nothing wrong with choosing to do what is right,” said the actress. “Anger may be a powerful emotion, but it does not turn the future into something brilliant. Snow White reveals fear, insecurity and lack of love. But it chooses kindness and still makes the change happen. Power assumes many forms. I hope we see a new dawn of kindness and acceptance in the coming years. I think it exists a little in all of us.”
During the conversation, Zegler It still reflects on the emotional depth that Disney princesses have, and how they can help with their own vulnerability.
According to the actress, “you see Disney princesses cry quite often and this is never seen as a bad thing. We see Cinderella cry, we see beautiful cry. Until we see Snow White pray in the original animation movie, which I think is the only time you really see a Disney princess pray. And the problem is that she pray for angry – the only person in that house that doesn’t want her.”
“Snow White” will be available in theaters all over Brazil from Thursday, 20. Already the animation “Snow White and Seven Dwarfs” is available for streaming at Disney+.
