Jimin, from BTS, surpasses the group’s record at Billboard

Making history! Even serving the South Korean army, Jiminmember of BTS, continues to conquer impressive achievements in the musical charts. This week, his song “Who” became the K-Pop track with the most permanence at Billboard Hot 100 parade of all time, as reflected by Soompi.

On Wednesday, 18, Billboard announced that “Who” climbed back to 29th position at Hot 100, the famous weekly classification of the most popular songs in the United States, being its 33rd consecutive week.

With this, the song was able to break a record that was already from BTS, with the song “Dynamite”, which remained for 32 weeks at the year 2020, becoming, until then, the track of a K-pop artist who spent the longer in the history of Hot 100. Out of Hot 100, “Who” also appeared on the Global 200 Charts, in position 25; GLOBAL EXCL. US, in 30th; Digital Song Sales, 41st; and streaming Songs in 23rd.

But don’t stop there! Jimin He also managed to expand his record as the K-Pop solo album with the highest stay in the Billboard 200 chart, with “Muse”, up to 134th position, remaining at the stop for 34 consecutive weeks. Already on the world’s album chart of Billboard, the album spent its eighth non -consecutive week first.

Furthermore, Jimin He went back to the Artist 100 ranking, meeting in 65th, and becoming the first solo artist of K-pop to spend 40 weeks at Chart.

It is worth remembering that, currently, Jimin is still performing the mandatory military service for men in South Korea. The star, who enlisted on December 12, 2023 alongside Jungkookshould only be dismissed from their obligations on June 11 this year. So far, their planning for the return to the stage have not yet been revealed.
