The possible reference to Miles Morales was found in the third episode of the series ‘Daredevil: Reborn’, available on Disney+
Last Tuesday, 11, debuted at Disney+ the third episode of the series “Daredevil: Reborn”, a production that continues the events of the series produced by Netflix in 2015, and features the return of the actor Charlie Cox In the role of Matt Murdock the Daredevil.
During the episode, which focuses on Hector Ayala’s trial, the white tiger, fans ended up noticing a curious fact: a possible reference to Miles Morales.
It turns out that in the scene where Hector is judged, Matt adopts a series of strategies to try to rid his client, even revealing his true identity. At one point, the lawyer names the names of the police Ayala managed to save with the white tiger costume, mentioning an “Officer Morales”.
Although, at no time, a direct relationship of the officer with Miles Morales was revealed, the reference caught the attention of fans due to an important fact presented in the comics. This is because, both in the comics and other film productions, it has been explained that Miles’s father is a police officer who works in New York – the same place where Daredevil operates.
So far, there is no information yet if the quote is just a simple Easter Egg, or if, in the future, the stories of Miles Morales and Matt Murdock can interconnect in Marvel’s cinematic universe.
