The remake brings Rachel Zegler (Love, sublime love) in the role of the iconic princess, and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) Like the Bad Queen. Under the direction of Marc Webb (The Spectacular Spider-Man), the new adaptation promises to be a tribute faithful to the original 1937 animation, while modernizing the story to the current audience.
Beyond the two, Andrew Burnap (The Front Room) will be the male protagonist, as he was cast to interpret the princess’s romantic pair: Jonathan, a figure whose behavior is similar to that of Robin Hood. They are also in the cast, Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean), and names not as well known as those of Gabriela Garcia and Joshmaine Jospeh.
Produced in 2016, Snow White underwent several changes before his final version. One of the biggest highlights of the remake is the new approach of the protagonist, which, according to Zeglerit will be “a princess who finds his own voice.” The plot will also bring adjustments in Disney’s classic fairy tale narrative, including the absence of an enchanted prince.
Now, with “Waiting on a Wish” available, fans can start entering the New Age of Snow White, which opens on March 20.
