5 things to know about the Oscar 2025

This Sunday, 2, happens the ceremony of the largest film award in the world: the Oscar! This, which is the 97th edition, takes place at the traditional Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, where the winners of the dozens of categories will be defined in which actors and professionals involved in the last year’s releases will compete.

1. Where to watch Oscar 2025?

Oscar transmission in Brazil happens in three ways:

  1. On TV Open at Globo, where the ceremony will not be broadcast only in Rio de Janeiro, where the parades of samba schools in Marquês de Sapucaí will air;
  2. By pay TV through TNT;
  3. For streaming services Max and Globoplay.

2. What time does Oscar transmission 2025 happen?

The event will begin to be broadcast live with the red carpet at 8:30 pm, where it will be possible to follow the largest stars and stars posing with their luxurious looks before entering the Dolby Theater. However, the ceremony has time scheduled for 21h, in Brasília time.
