The long -awaited continuation of Shrek, the ‘Shrek 5’, has finally the first teaser released by DreamWorks, with Zendaya in the cast; look!
Finally coming! The long-awaited sequence of the world’s best-known ogre finally won a teaser on Thursday, February 27. Shrek 5 was directed by Walt Dohrnscreenwriter of the second and third films of the franchise, who was also responsible for voicing the villain Rumplestilskin, working alongside Conrad Vernonwho directed ‘Shrek 2’ and dubbed the character cookie.
The film brings beyond the already known cast composed of Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers and Cameron Diazthe news that shocked fans is the inclusion of the actress Zendaya (“Euphoria” and “Spiderman: No return home.”

Without much information released yet, fans can miss Shrek through the Netflix and Prime Video catalog, where they have the first three films of the franchise, while the late “Shrek Forever” is available on Globoplay.
About Shrek
Recognized as one of DreamWorks’s most famous animations in the Shrek plot, an grumpy ogre, he sees the swamp in which he lives being invaded by popular creatures from fairytale stories, and determined to have his home back, ends up embarking on a dangerous mission alongside a talkative donkey: saving a princess imprisoned in a tower guarded by a great and powerful dragon.
In the original voice acting, Shrek has the voice of the actor and humorist Mike Myersknown for participating in the Saturday Night Live with the first voice actor’s choice for the character, Chris Farleywho died in 1997 before completing the recordings of the ogre’s lines.
The Oscar category that awards the best animations shown on the big screen only emerged in 2002. In the debut of the category, three productions ran for the prize: “Monsters Sa”, “Jimmy Neutron” and “Shrek”-which went into history when being the first animated feature film to lead to the golden statuette in the award.
