The National Art Museum of Latvia received the object and exposed it among the collection so that visitors could see where the Latto cinema had arrived. An interesting curiosity is that the award was kept by two cat statues, one of them being the same as the protagonist of the film.
During the time it was exposed, the symbol received by “Flow” took 15,669 people to the museum specifically to see the achievement, with some of them waited hours in line just to honor the important victory of the plot led by GINTES ZILBALODIS.

More than that, Latão citizens began to celebrate the feat with great public demonstrations, as a statue of the kitten was erected in the country’s capital and the streets received several illustrations from the character. Look:

It is worth remembering that “Flow” has as its protagonist a lonely black cat that, after seeing the place where it lives spread by water, can shelter in a boat. The problem? It’s just that he will have to learn to live with other animals and overcome the differences that surround them, as there also live a dog, a heron, a capybara and even a lemure.
In addition to winning the Golden Globe and the categories of best independent animated feature film and best animated feature film script at Annie Awards Title, “Flow” was selected by the Academy of Film Arts and Sciences to compete for the categories of Best Animation and Best international film in the Oscar, entering history by becoming the first Latvian movie ever named in the awards.
If one of the categories wins, another historical feat will be guaranteed, as it will also be the first Latto feature film to reach the feat. The result will be revealed at the ceremony that takes place on March 2 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California.
