Itzy’s Yeji announces his solo debut with the album ‘Air’, marking the first solo project of a group member; Check out schedule!
After much expectation, the news has finally arrived that ITZY fans were waiting! Yeji, Group leader will make his debut as a solo artist. The announcement was made last Sunday, February 9, through a conceptual trailer released by JYP Entertainment, leaving everyone excited for what is coming. Titled ‘Air’, the album marks the first solo project of one of the members of the female group, and will be released on March 10th.

The shared teaser trailer has also brought the promotional programming that will precede the launch with a schedule that creates high expectations and makes Mitzy’s even more anxious.
Yeji Promotions began with the launch of an official trailer, followed by the revelation of the tracklist on February 13. Conceptual photos and short films will be released on February 23, 25 and 27. Already in March, more teasers and promotional images will hit the networks, ending at a live count event, on the day of the album release.
At the age of 24, the singer has already shown her great potential as a solo artist in “Crown on My Head”, a track from Itzy’s album ‘Born to Be’, released in 2024. The song highlighted her striking stage presence, leaving a taste to fans what they can expect from their first solo album.
JYP Entertainment also did not save compliments to the singer, stating in an official statement:
“Yeji has set firmly as a ‘queen of performance’. We encourage fans to witness the unique charm she will bring as a solo artist.”

With the debut in 2019, ITZY is a Girlgroup managed by JYP Entertainment and formed by five members: Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. With the hit ‘Dalla Dalla’, the group quickly won a huge fan base with their characteristic performances. Since then, the group has delivered a series of hits such as ‘Mafia in the Morning’, ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Not Shy’.
The most recent comeback of the group was with the album ‘Gold’ in 2024, which marked the return of Liaafter a hiatus period.
