Check out some of the terrible acts already committed by memorable villains of classic animations released by Walt Disney Animation Studios
Responsible for marking the lives of thousands of people around the world for over 100 years, Disney’s animations have been recognized for their stories that, in addition to having fun and funny moments, also have important lessons to the public.
Much more than just love stories, with princes, princesses and fairies, productions also have memorable villains, capable of making great atrocities to satisfy their own ego, showing that the world is not always composed only of good people.
With that in mind, the Recreation has separated a list of five evil acts that have already been committed by Disney villains; Check it out!
1. The coachman sells children in “pinocchio”
Launched in 1940, in “Pinocchio”, the coachman initially appears as a nice person, attracting the children through his theme park known as Pleasure Island, portraying him as a perfect place for the little ones. However, while children are distracted by the jokes, they end up being transformed into dumb and sold by man to perform slave labor.
2. Shan Yu invade and burn villages in “Mulan”

In addition to having a dark appearance, Shan Yu, “Mulan”, also performs horrible acts. While heading to the imperial city in order to kidnap the Emperor of China, the villain makes a point of letting his trail invading and destroying the villages he passed, setting fire to the houses and destroying complete innocent families. It was in one of these invasions that he killed General Shang’s father, Mulan’s future romantic couple.
3. The persecution of Frollo with the Gypsy people in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”

Frollo is considered by many to be one of Disney’s most evil and scary villains. During the plot of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” he makes clear his contempt for the Gypsy people, killing and pursuing numerous innocent people for decades only for being Gypsy, driven by their religious fanaticism.
4. Ratcliffe deforest and start a war for profit in “Pocahontas”

Arriving in America, Governor John Ratcliff of “Pocahontas”, therefore forces his crew to explore the riches of the place, overthrowing countless trees to build his base. Also, when he comes to believe that the Powhatan tribe could be hiding gold, he decides to start a war just to win the fortune.
5. Scar kill his own brother in “The Lion King”

Early on “The Lion King”, it is clear how much Scar despises his younger brother, Mufasa, only because he became king. With this, tired of being treated as a second option, he decides to get rid of the monarch and creates a trap where he can kill him with his own hands, in a scene that traumatized generations. Showing to be even more sadistic, the lion still makes his nephew, Simba, believed that he was the true responsible for his father’s own death.
