Composed of seven members, JYP Entertainment’s new boy group, KickFlip, made their debut with the mini-album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’
THEY HAVE ARRIVED! This Monday, the 20th, JYP Entertainment launched its newest boy group, KickFlip. The debut took place through the release of the mini-album “Flip it, Kick it!”, accompanied by the title track “Mama Said”.
With an energetic rhythm and pop punk influence, “Mama Said” featured the participation of the member Amaru in the writing of the lyrics, and reflects the idea of young people to ignore the complaints made by adults, and follow their own path. Watch the clip!
In addition to “Mama Said”, the album “Flip it, Kick it!” it also has five more tracks: “WARRIORS”, “Knock Knock”, Like A Monster”, “See You On Tomorrow”, and “Umm Great”, a song that served as a pre-release and also received a music video. Check it out!
Composed of four finalist members of the reality show LOUD, a partnership between PSY and JY Parkand three new members, being Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju and DonghyeonKickFlip has also received support from some JYP Entertainment stars, celebrating their debut. Leah and Yejifrom ITZY, for example, shared some messages of support for the new group through the Instagram Stories tool. Check it out!
During the debut showcase, the new idols also revealed that, before their debut, they received a series of advice from their “sunbaenims” (seniors). Second Juwang, Young Kfrom DAY6, and Changbin and INfrom Stray Kids, gave them the advice that “for a team to last 7 or 10 years, good teamwork is essential, and it’s okay to fight as long as you make up afterward.”
