When creating a new series, the author of the cartoon draws parallels to the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Russian animator Oleg Kuvaev has published a new episode of Masyanya’s cartoon condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. You can watch the cartoon on Youtube.

In particular, the new issue is named St. Mariuburg. According to the plot, the war begins in the morning, key personnel wake up from the explosions and news that China has invaded the Russian Federation, and bombed Russia’s largest cities, such as Moscow, Tver, Novgorod. The “President of China” explained this by saying “he wants to cleanse Russia of fascists.”

After that, the main characters, along with the children, try to leave the city, but they are under shelling, so they are forced to hide in the basement, and then in the subway.

Also, in a conversation between the characters, it was noted that many have fled to Ukraine, including Bucha, Mariupol and other cities, because it is safe there.

By the end of the cartoon, Masyana and her family could not escape. However, what is happening is a dream of the main character.

“Empathy is the basic human feeling. The ability to empathize. The ability to put oneself in the place of others. This cartoon is addressed to those who, through some terrible mistake, support the Russian war- Ukrainian, ”Oleg Kuvaev explains in the description at the bottom of the episode.

It was previously reported that the crime drama Rhino received the Grand Prix of the Lubusz film festival in Poland.
