The huge fires that are engulfing Los Angeles and Southern California are talking about the 67th Grammy Awards.
The future of the 67th Grammy Awards is in jeopardy because of the massive wildfires that spread through Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California, The News reports.
The ceremony is scheduled for February 2, 2025, but organizers have not yet announced the host of the event or the performers scheduled to perform.
According to tabloids, the possibility of moving the date of the event or turning the ceremony into a charity concert aimed at raising funds to help those affected by natural disasters is being actively considered.
Wildfires that started on January 7 in the Pacific Palisades area have spread to Malibu and Santa Monica. The disaster destroyed much of the infrastructure and natural areas, causing serious damage to the region.
Despite the difficult circumstances, the organizers of the awards assured that they will do everything to support the community and honor the achievements of the music industry even in these difficult times.
It was previously reported that the 66th Grammy Awards rose in the ratings, averaging 16.9 million viewers.
