The head of state urged to tell the truth about the war in Ukraine and stressed that the people are fighting for their freedom.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy performed at the 64th Grammy Music Awards. CNN writes about it.

He told the public that people were forced to live in basements, and silence filled the destroyed cities of Ukraine, but at the same time, Ukraine was fighting for its independence.

“Tell the truth about the war. On your social networks. On TV. Support us in any way you can. Anything. But don’t keep quiet,” Zelensky urged.

The Ukrainian leader stressed that since the beginning of Russia’s massive aggression, 153 children have died, more than 400 have been injured.

“Our musicians wear body armor instead of tuxedos. They sing for the wounded … in hospitals. All our cities were destroyed by the war – Chernigov, Kharkov, Volnovakha, Mariupol and others “They are legends. But I have a dream that they live and are free. Free, just like you are on the Grammy stage,” urged the President of Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that after the address of the President of our country, the American singer John Legend, Ukrainian artists Lyubov Yakymchuk, Mika Newton and Suzanne Igidan sang the song Free.

The 2022 Grammy Awards are scheduled for Jan. 31 at the Staples concert venue in Los Angeles. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed.
