In an interview, the director of the series, Hwang Dong-hyukexplained his choice of the rapper for the role, highlighting the artist’s dedication and his perseverance during the audition process.
“We scrutinized him a lot. He showed strong will and also went through auditions. We asked him to send a tape, and he sent a video that he worked hard to make of him acting.
