After publication on the Billboard Korea profile, ARMYs, as BTS fans are called, criticized the magazine on social media
The recent controversy involving Billboard Korea generated outrage among BTS fans, especially after the Korean billboard agency deleted Suga from an Instagram post.
What happened?
On December 24, the Korean profile published a fan edit on its account, but soon netizens noticed that Suga had been removed from the image, which originally showed him alongside Jungkook.
The post, which had great repercussion, was quickly deleted after criticism. The reason for the exclusion sparked speculation among fans, with many believing the decision was related to his DUI case. Sugawhich gained media attention earlier this year.

Billboard Korea’s attitude reignited the controversy that was already on the rise after the Melon Music Awards 2024, an event held at the end of November. During the awards show, BTS was honored for their achievements, but due to the military service of several members of the group, many fans noticed the absence of Suga in the videos shared in tribute to the group. The idol’s exclusion caused a revolt on social media, and fans did not hesitate to show their support for the artist and demand respect for his legacy.
After the last incident, the message from fans remains clear: “BTS has seven members, and Suga will always be part of BTS. The ARMY does not tolerate the exclusion of the idol and demands respect”, as stated by user @riya_preeti7, making it clear that the group’s trajectory must be recognized in its entirety.

They keep feeding that there will be a return to the group but they don’t say a peep about Yoongi and to make matters worse content keeps coming out of them excluding Yoongi so people either shit or get out of the woods
