In a live broadcast, Jin, from BTS, ended up forgetting the song title of his latest solo project, the album “Happy”
This Monday, 23rd, Jin and J-Hopefrom BTS, held a surprise live broadcast on Weverse in order to celebrate the end of the year with fans, remembering moments that were part of the duo’s lives and careers in 2024.
Among the topics came the release of the first album by Jin“Happy”, released on November 15th, taking J-Hope asking the idol which song he liked most from his new work, which he replied was ‘Running Wild’, surprising Arson’s voice.
At the time, J-Hope asked his colleague: “I didn’t think you would choose the title track. Most people choose B-sides, right?”, which led Jin to highlight the characteristics of the song to be the song he listens to the most on the album, scoring that the track was “fun” making it “perfect to listen to while working out”.
However, when it was time to J-Hope reveal what “Happy’s” favorite song was, things got complicated. That’s because the idol wasn’t sure about the song’s title, and to help, he didn’t even Jin I remembered the name he chose to represent the song.
J-Hope: Guess which song I like?
Jin: From my songs? Do you know my songs?
J-Hope: Of course! This hyung has a problem. What do you think I am?
Jin: Many people like my song with Wendy. Is this your favorite song?
J-Hope: My favorite song is ‘Falling’. Is this correct?
Jin: Suddenly I don’t remember the title of the song.
J-Hope: I was also mumbling because I didn’t know the exact name, but you…
Jin : The name is… ‘Falling’ is the title in English, but the original title is in Korean… What was the name of the song…
J-Hope: I’ll take a look…
Jin : Yes, you can search…ah, the name is…it’s a long name…
J-Hope : But I use a different platform to listen to music, so the title appears in English.
Possibly Jin remembered that the title is “네게 닿을 때까지” (“until it comes to you, in free translation) and the title in English is “Falling”.
“Anyway, I really like this song. It also came out as a remix, right? I really liked that vibe, so I hope you can release something different for your next album,” concluded J-Hope.
